How Do I Embed a YouTube Video in a 2010 PowerPoint?

Office 2010 makes it easy to add a YouTube Video. But first, you'll need to get the embed code for the video you wish to use.

How do I find the embed code for the YouTube video?
  1. Go to the video on YouTube.
  2. Click on the Share button
  3. Click on Use old embed code.
  4. Uncheck - Add related videos.
  5. Select or customize the size of your video.
  6. Then copy the code and paste it into the PowerPoint's embed code box.

To find this...

On the PowerPoint Ribbon go to Insert.
Click the down arrow under Video.
Select Video from Web from the drop down video.
Then place the embed code for the YouTube video you've copied into the box.
Click Insert.

Note: You can re-size the video by dragging the box at the corner, using the double ended arrow. Move the video on the slide by dragging the image with the 4 headed arrow. Add a frame and colorize the video using the Picture Tools.
