How can I put an email in the eLearn dropbox?
This struck me as an odd request from an instructor since email is not an option for the eLearn dropbox. My work-around is to use the Snipping Tool. It is available through the Operating System called Windows 7 which is on all of our library computers. Here is how you use it.
What Goes into the eLearn Dropbox?
The dropbox began as a place to upload documents or submit assignments but has become much more. Many instructors have added new items in the dropbox folders that relate to your assignments and how you are graded. It is also a place where instructors have placed links to videos related to assignments; added links to quizzes created on other websites; stored your rubrics for grading your assignment and added attachments they want you to download. You might even find instructions for your assignments and forms they want you to fill out and submit.
One thing to remember is this. Your submissions to the drop box are logged or dated at the time they are submitted. If you miss the deadline your item may not upload. Many instructors allow only one submission per assignment others set up features in the drop box that allow you to revise and resubmit assignments. Your original document and each revised version will be saved with teachers comments.
