What happens if I leave my flashdrive in the library? How do I get it back?
All flashdrives are taken to the circulation desk at the entrance of the library. We keep them for a week and then turn them into lost and found. However, you should know that flashdrives all look alike and you should name yours so it can get returned more promptly. So, next time you are at a computer, why not "Rename" your flashdrive with your first initial and last name? This way if you leave it behind we can get it back to you more easily. To do this while you are in the library: Insert your flashdrive into the USB port on the left side of our monitors. Look at the desktop and right click on the computer icon. Select Open. You will see your flashdrive listed in the left side menu under the word "Computer". Right click on the flashdrive name and select Rename in the drop down menu that appears. Type in your first initial and last name. Click off into the white space to set the name or hit Enter.
