How Do I Download the Lecture/Audio Files from My eLive Course?

Begin by logging in to your eLive course using the username and password your teacher has given you. Then in Course Content click on the link to the Course Compass site he/she has set up. Login with the teacher's class username and password that she has set up and given you. In the next window there is a small paragraph mid-way down the page and the words "Click Here" are in red. Click on this link to get to the "Archives" where the audio files are stored.

Downloading MP3s

Click on the Lecture's Audio File Link. A new window opens.
There is a control panel under the main window box.
  1. Click on the word, "Options" and select "MP3" from the drop down menu that appears.
  2. If this does not open a "File Download" window check to see if the browser is blocking it.
  3. Look at the top of the screen where the browser toolbar is to see if you need to click on the bar to allow the download box to open. Once you click and allow, try clicking on the "Options" link and select "MP3" again.
  4. This time you should get "File Download" box.
  5. In this box choose the destination (flashdrive, MP3 player, iPhone or location on your computer where you want to save the audio file.
  6. Click on "Save" then "OK".
  7. The file will then download to the location you chose.
  8. To access the audio files go to the location where you saved the file and double click on the audio file's icon. If you saved it on your computer it should open in a media player or quick time player.
